Dr. West is a certified Prosthodontic specialist, who is an expert in dental implant prosthodontics, esthetic or cosmetic dentistry and reconstructive dentistry.

In order to be recognized by the American Dental Association as a Prosthodontic specialist 3 additional years of clinical training is requirred in a university accredited graduate program in prosthodontics to be sucessfully completed.This advanced training is in addition to the 4 years of dental school for the DDS or DMD degree.

This clinical training encompasses all aspects of prosthodontics; fixed, removable, maxillofacial and implant prosthodontics for pediactric, adult and geriactric patients.

These skills have application in other areas that involve prosthetic services such as; sports dentistry, sleep apnea prostheses, holistic dental concepts with metal free dentistry, perventive periodontal services, temporary dental devices and geriactric dental care.
